Tip #1: Find you a model

The first thing you can do as a fashion shop owner that will surely help you to get customers to start considering your products, is to get yourself a model.

Don’t worry! Your model is not supposed to be the most perfect of models. After all, there is no such thing as the perfect body right?

What is important is that your model needs to be a person your customers see themselves in. People are more prone to connect with your product if they can see themselves in the pictures and description of your fashion products.

Look at it this way: It does not matter who you are selling to, whether it’s someone with a small or large waist. Your audience can’t test online to see how your wonderful product fits them. When you have a model of the same proportion posing however with your product, your customers can get a glimpse of what it might look like when they wear it.

Tip #2: Have a clear and concise return policy

Fashion clothing are one of those items that are difficult to buy when a customer does not know whether he/she can return it or trade it for another one when it does not fit properly.

Having a clear and concise return policy will make that online purchase a hell-of-a-lot easier. Tip #3: Combine your fashion products

Yup, probably you are frowning right now. But wait, wait… wait for it. What we mean with combining product is also what we like to call up-selling in the sales world. Hopefully we are getting warmer.

  • Seasonal trends are a fact. Do not forget to get on the hype train before it’s too late. Try to make a calendar from season to season and follow these when they are close enough to be relevant to your customers.
